Antalya is hosting 2. International Meze Festival on 12-13 October 2018 for the first time in the world.

Meze culture, which has an important place in gastronomy, will be promoted with a splendid festival at Akra Otel Antalya, on 12-13 October 2018. The participants expected to joined countries are Turkey and abroad countries. The event will bring  the best 18 international chefs from the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Turkey and their irreplaceable food presentation with gastronomy lovers.

World-famous chefs are: Ruben Arnanz from Spain, Joe Barza from Lebanon, Mohamad Orfali from Syria, Pere Planaguma and Prin Polsuk from Girona, Mustafa Seif from Egypt will be presenting different mezes at the event.

The famous names who are going to represent Turkey are; Ali Ronay, Doğa Çiftci, Emre Çapa, Erhan Görücüoğlu, Hazer Amani, Mehmet Akdağ, Umut Karakuş and Volkan Bekit whom are going to prepare and present mezes with their specific way of touch.

The participants who are going to visit the event on 12th October will be able to attend to the workshop to have important information about the making up & presentation of meze.

Contributed and organized by the Gastronomy historian and chef Vedat Başaran, gastronomy ambassador organizator Gökmen Sözen and gastronomy face of Barut Hotels Chef Tolga Atalay, the 2. International Meze Festival will show the importance of meze culture in gastronomy and gastronomy lovers.
