World Halal Summit and 5th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Halal Expo organized by Discover Events is held in cooperation with The Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) and The Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) supported by Turkish Ministry of Economy, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Ministry of Development and other related Turkish governmental institutions under the auspices of The President of the Republic of Turkey with honorable participation of His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN between 23rd-25th November 2017 following the organization of 33rd Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul.

Conferences are held to attract senior institutions and organizations from more than 80 countries including 57 OIC member countries, in fields of Halal industry in World Halal Summit 2017 that General Secretary of Islamic Development Bank, General Secretary of International Islamic Fıqh Academy, Secretary General of AAOIFI  participated.

On his valuable speech, the Economy Minister of Turkish Republic Mr. Nihat Zeybekçi highlighted the importance of the producing halal products and motivated everyone controlling the ‘halal’ industry as Muslims could covered only 20 percent of it. Within a year, this event will be the biggest event all around the world if we plan well and work hard, he mentioned.

OIC Halal Expo, housed many sector and sector representatives in fields of Halal Industry (Food, Finance, Tourism, Islamic, Medicine and Pharmacy,Cosmetics that provide an opportunity for sustainable marketing and promotional activities in Europe, The Middle East, North Africa, The Far East and The United States of America along the commercial expectations of the participating companies.
