  One of the easiest to make – delicious to taste Turkish desserts that loved by everyone. Rice pudding is actually cooked in different ways like a little harder or smoother or with different aromas in different cultures, Turkish one is smooth, light, and great with the smell of cinnamon. Turkish sütlaç is made in two ways too; to cook it and serve with cinnamon, and to cook and cook again in oven to have a little more harder covering on top to serve like that cold again. We’ll make the first one. Let’s see how easy to make this dessert;


1 liter milk

1/2 glass of rice

1 liter water

3 spoon of rice flour

2 cup of sugar

1 glass of water

On Top : Cinnamon


  • Wash the rice and put into a bowl, add 1 liter of water and let it cook till the water disappears
  • Add 1 liter of cold milt on it, stir it few times and wait for it to boil
  • Meanwhile, mix the glass of milk with rice flour in another cup, stir till it take a nice consistency
  • Add few scoop of boiling milk on that stirred rice flour
  • Than add all mixed cup to the main boiling milk-rice mixture
  • Stir them frequently for 10 minutes
  • Add sugar and mixture them, let it all ingredients boil for 5 more minutes
  • Put into cups, and put them in refrigator
  • Serve it cold after sprinkle cinnamon on top
